Hill Cottage Farm Hill Cottage Farm was purchased in 2008 and originally consisted of a 4 bedroom Farm House of approximately 3000 sq ft. The house sat in 6 acres of land with several dilapidated outbuildings and had been unoccupied for approximately two years. The condition of the main house was poor and consequently it was decided that the site was ideal for demolition and rebuild. With that in mind we liaised with our architects to create a replacement property.
Chestnut Cottage, Lapworth
Formally a farm cottage Chestnut House was sourced for client’s who instructed us to build them a new house. Their brief was that they wanted a house almost identical to Hill Cottage Farm only on a slightly smaller scale. The plot was found by us in 2010 in Lapworth and it already had outline planning for a replacement dwelling. The design was not as the client required and so following purchase we went with the clients to our architects to redesign the site.
A current project nearing completion. HRC provided a full turnkey package for this client, which included land acquisition, design, construction through to completion, resulting in a wonderful family home and outbuildings measuring 7000 sq feet.
Lake House, Ashby de La Zouch
This project consisted of a total refurbishment of a client’s property. Built in the 1980’s The Lake House had been purchased by our clients for its location which sits down a private secluded road along with 5 other properties all of which overlook a stunning private lake. Whilst the house itself was not in poor condition it was dated and tired and was in need of modernisation.
Stable Conversion Honiley
HRC was instructed following planning consent to convert an existing stable block into a gym. The renovation was completed sympathetically and in keeping to its current surroundings.
